Cancellation Policy

Right of Cancellation

You have the right to cancel this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The cancellation period will expire after fourteen days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party more than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the last good.

of your decision to cancel this contract by a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or an e-mail). You may use the attached model cancellation form, but it is not obligatory.

To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of cancellation before the cancellation period has expired.

Effects of Cancellation

If you cancel this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of the supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to cancel this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.

You shall send back the goods or hand them over to us without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day on which you communicate your cancellation from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of fourteen days has expired.

You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods. If you wish, we can provide you with a return shipping label as part of the process, the cost of which we will subsequently deduct from your refund.

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

How to initiate a return via your customer account:

To request a return quickly and easily, please use your customer account in our shop:

  1. Log in to your customer account using your login details.
  2. In the order overview, go to the corresponding order and select the items you wish to return.
  3. Click on "Request return" (or "Declare cancellation") and follow the instructions.
  4. As soon as we receive your request, we will review it and you will receive all further information as well as shipping instructions directly via e-mail.

Damages and Issues (Complaints)

Please check your order immediately upon receipt. If an item is defective, damaged, or if you received the wrong product, please contact us immediately stating your order number so that we can resolve the issue as quickly as possible. In the case of damaged or defective items, we reserve the right to request appropriate proof (e.g., photos or videos) in advance in order to review the case quickly.

Exceptions / Non-returnable Items

Certain types of items cannot be returned under the statutory right of cancellation. These include:
- Custom orders: Goods made to your specifications or clearly personalized (e.g., individually printed balloons or custom-assembled sets according to customer requirements).
- Hygiene products & sealed goods: Goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons if they were unsealed after delivery.
- Hazardous materials: Dangerous materials, flammable liquids, or gases.
- Gift cards (value vouchers) are also excluded from returns and cash refunds.

Special Note on Balloons & Compensation for Value

Compensation for the loss of value of the goods occurs if they have been used beyond what is necessary to check their condition, characteristics, and functionality. For balloons, inflating them specifically qualifies as such use, as the material is stretched during inflation and the item can no longer be resold as new. Balloons that have already been inflated therefore lead to a value compensation of up to 100% of the value of the goods within the scope of the cancellation.
This naturally does not apply to justified complaints due to material or manufacturing defects (e.g., a broken valve ex works).
